Qa-121, 17 December 2020, Statement Of The Spokesperson Of Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hami Aksoy In Response To A Question Regarding The U.s. Decision To Rescind The Sudan From The List Of State Sponsors Of Terrorism
We consider the U.S. decision to rescind the Sudan from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism, which we have been desiring for a long time, as a step in the right direction. Indeed, Turkey is against unilateral sanctions, as it has been stressing from the outset.
Our country will continue to support the transition process in the Sudan, the reform efforts carried out within this scope, and to stand by the brotherly Sudanese people.
